MITA in CFIA Maroc agri-food exhibition

MITA Cooling Technologies has been present as exhibitor in CFIA Maroc with its partner IPConsulting. The Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire is the exhibition of techniques and solutions for the agri-food sector at its 6th edition. The appointment was in Casablanca from 25 to 27 September.

“The ambition of CFIA – the organizers write on the website of the initiative – is to meet the expectations of producers in all stages of production, from raw material to finished product, through logistics and handling”.

The usefulness of cooling technologies for the agri-food sector is the final phase of the process: that is the condensation or heat rejuction of the refrigerant which fills the refrigeration units. This is apparent in three industrial processes related to the sector:

• recovery and cooling of serum of milk for cheese production;
• tomato processing line;
• and cooling of ice-cream machines.

CFIA Maroc is an opportunity to present solutions and practices in a country with a very strong agricultural tradition. Indeed, as the organizers of the event pointed out the turnover of food production grew by 63% in ten years. This reflects on the exhibition: there will be 300 exhibitors from 40 nationalities, with 5,000 of expected visitors.
